Our Purpose and Principles

MISSION

• To promote camaraderie, social intercourse, personal contact and an exchange of ideas among its members;

• To foster, encourage and cultivate an interest in the history, culture and teachings of the Jewish people; in current events involving the Jewish people; and in similarities and differences between secular and halakhic law;

• To promote the administration of justice and due process in the legal institutions of Kings County, New York and elsewhere;

• To promote a better understanding of the law, legal ethics and the practice of law among its members;

• To interact with other bar associations in the City and State of New York to promote common interests;

• To maintain vigilance against, and oppose acts of, anti-Semitism, racism, and ethnic and religious discrimination.
